Seriously man you've been given good advice in the "wear your Minnesota gear". Do that, and kinda walk around with that "lost, or wonder what we do/where we go next look". Maybe even go to the bookstore first, and buy a campus map as a prop. I'm not EVEN kidding. Be as "obviously first time/bucket list" as you can.

Look man, people down here take pre game partying seriously. And if there's one thing we DO NOT TOLERATE, it's folks like y'all coming to a game, and leaving with any thoughts other than it was the most incredible football experience you can ever imagine. We'll be offended iif you don't leave completely wowed.

If you walk up to 100 LSU tale gate parties wearing Minnesota gear, and say these exact words....."what is it you fellows are cooking there," you will be offered food 100 times. If you are not, please take down the license plate number of the responsible vehicle, and report them to the campus police. It's consjdered a criminal offense down here to not be overly hospitable to "bucket list" attendees.

George's under the bridge is an awesome gourmet sandwich shop and restaurant under the Perkins Road overpass. I think it's on College Dr but my college days memories escape me. :)

If you are going to walk to the stadium, don't forget you'll have to walk back afterwards, late as we party just as hard post win as we do before any game. Mite ask your hotel what they'd recommend, and some even run buses there & back for a fee. Get there early to enjoy the full ambiance. If your dad wears down, take him to the Student Union, mid campus... it has nice places to sit & rest & tv's all over for game watching if he needs a break. Work on getting to your seats 45 minutes or so pre game to make sure you catch the band's entry on the field.

Get there as early as possible and just eat anywhere near the North Gates of Campus (Chimes & Highland).

Do not be in Baton Rouge sitting down off of campus any longer than you have to.
