I have to add JL....
how many of us would have kept playing with hundreds of thousand of people bitching each week....
and at 19 years or so.
That kid has heart.

Kevin Mawae - 30 or so seconds left in the Ark game in 1993. Last game of a 5-7 miserable season. LSU is on the 2-3 yard line looking for a sloppy pick up score that would make the final score look at least respectable (final 42-24, loss), Hand off is fumbled and an Arkansas player scoops it up and runs it 97 yards for the game ending play - the whole LSU team stood and watched the guy run it all the way - except for the center, Mawae (never a speed demon), who runs flat out chasing the guy all the way into the endzone. One of the most inspiring things I've ever seen in Tiger Stadium.
Mawae - all heart.
Others - Hester, Casanova, Stovall, Sammy Martin, Herb Tyler, Bradie James, Lavalais, AJ Duhe.

Just from last year - Flynn, Hester, Steltz, Dorsey, Doucet, and even Perilloux at times, such as the SECCG.
The heart on that team won LSU the BCS title.
Heart was unfortunately missing from the team this year, or we would have had max of 2 losses, maybe only 1.
Hope to see a lot more heart in Atlanta on New Year's Eve.
