I'm all over their piping in "Louisiana Saturday Night." I believe this is the wave (no pun intended) of the future -- that doesn't mean the band is replaced but they can be supplemented, like when they come down from the stands for half time, etc. And then of course their's the pregame production of the tiger growling and walking through the jungle and the stadium -- that so gives me goose bumps. I think there's a place for both piped in music and the band.

I gotta say that the beginning of hells bells gives me chills (especially in TS). I think it's okay during some of the long commercial breaks IMHO.

All this aingst over a few seconds of music? Come on...

I work at UA and all the students that went to the game could talk about was how awesome LSU's band was and how they never stopped playing the whole time. Bama does a lot of the piped in stuff and it was one of the most disappointing thing about their gameday experience for me.

A little piped in is ok, but I hope we don't get carried away.
