“I look at every penalty. I watch the film. Certainly there are some things that you want to get corrected. Those are things we’re going to get fixed. Pre-snap penalties, especially. I can’t have motion and movement. So those things, we’re working on. I would think we’ll be better. I think the sense of urgency will certainly be there for this game.”

sounds good right?

well this is what miles said after the kent state game unfortunately...

where LSU had 11 freaking penalties for 86 yards.

10 more penalties against auburn for 85 yards

So I guess that's an improvement right?

Also: 4 false starts in a quiet stadium

Now on to fumbles:

LSU has lost a fumble in all four games this year so far.

Read that again: 4 fumbles. One in each game lost.

That is very uncharacteristic for an LSU RB corp and HAS to get cleaned up...

Magee can't put the ball on the ground. period. I believe he's the best back after Hill. Blue is SLOOOOOW and not explosive at all. Hilliard looks like a fullback out there, but goes down at the first inkling of contact.

Going into Athens, penalties HAVE to be corrected, as well as holding onto the ball. Those two things if not corrected, will lead to LSU's demise in a hostile environment fast.

I thought at least two of those false starts were bogus. I didn't think we were even up to the line and set yet.

les teams will always be sloppy. The refs were in full "protect bama" mode last night though.

the holding call on boone was a disgrace.

eta- i guess they made up for it with the onside kick reversal. THAT was bad

But what does this have to do with the fake fg that eventually caused Freak to get injured...... Think about that

can't believe they ran a fake there... I get it though I guess... wants to make sure teams know that LSU can run a fake I guess

it's just in that situation, you go up 31-7 right there and Auburns will is broken.

yeah, also gives colby another easy attempt but maybe they didn't want him to kick on a wet field with a wet ball and lose confidence heading into next week. i don't know. not as retarded as the fake against bama last year

Par for the course with him. The holding call on the would-be Landry TD was so weak.

what about landry putting his hand down and his knee never hitting?

at least that's what it looked like in the stadium on the scoreboard that is half covered with ads
