How can we be on upset alert, if we are underdogs? Thanks Lou Holtz and ESPN.

Maybe because we're ranked higher.

If a favored team beats a dog, is that considered an upset even if the dog is higher ranked?

Isn't Arky -3.5?

any ways

I like it. We play better as the underdogs and disrespected team.

I agree. Just thought it hilarious ESPN put us on upset alert when we aren't favored to win in the first place.

Just a nice way of saying I think you will not win and I have a reason to talk shite if I'm right.

They don't give two-shits about the spread on that show.

They're picking straight-up.

A 12 over a 5 is an upset, regardless of what the spread is.

Now, if The Saints were +4 against the Falcons and Bradshaw said that we were on upset alert, then I would laugh.

It's all about the rankings, not the point spread.

I know. Miles leaves the prognosticators befuddled (as well as many of us ) and they can't stand it. Remember back in 2003 Saban wasn't the "god" that the media portays him as now. They picked us to lose to Georgia both times.

Yeah you right....
It would have been more polite for him to just say "LSU" and then fliped the double bird....

They always call games upsets for no reason at all.

It's a ratings/conversation generated show - they will ALWAYS take some sort of contrarian view.

And why not pick on LSU if you're ESPN?

A fanatically loyal fan base that will propagate their opinions no matter how shitty they are.
