In his defense we can’t make a throw to first base…we are lucky to be in a regional and hosting one would’ve been a gift. I love LSU baseball but I’m also a realist.

LSU's chances of hosting were over after the Ole Miss sweep. Outside of winning the SEC tourney.
LSU finished with 37 wins and easily could have won 2 or 3 more games and hosted. No specific team or win would have mattered.

D1 had Maryland as the 6th seed in their projections this weekend. Lol. They ended up the 15th seed. All of D1's projections were based on rpi.
