Starts with the students. No energy from them=no energy from the rest of the place. The crowd feeds off students energy.

Agree but still no excuse for the non-student section fans to just sit in silence during the game. Look at baseball games, there's hardly any students at the games and yet we have one of the best fanbases in all of college baseball. Yes I understand that baseball is a prestigious program but still it’s LSU, and we love all of our sports, and college basketball is very fun to watch

Move the student section hack where it was in the 80's and I think you would see a completely different crowd.

So you’re telling us, the students tell you how to act? If the students are jumping up and down, will you and the rest of the crowd? From my experience, that’s a no. Ever thought if the students saw alumni getting involved, they’d be more excited? The students don’t want to be the only ones yelling. Bottom line is, EVERYONE needs to step it up.

Edit: spelling

When the best seats in the pmac stayed empty for years straight, LSU made the wise decision to move the student section and charge big money for those mid court seats. Students still cant fill their allotted sections.

I’m watching. And what’s the rest of the crowd doing? Sitting on their arse.

There’s no excuse for the rest of the crowd to not be into it. I was at a game last year and stood up and cheered about something and like 5 old people shushed me. Stop giving 80 year olds the best seats in the house if you want to see energy.

This has been a major issue for years. LSU needs someone to explain how to properly execute a basketball gameday atmosphere.
