LSU needs to put on a pep rally for basketball

Before the Kentucky game. Wade can send an email to all the students, flyers can be put up around campus, open up the PMAC and have a midnight madness type event with free pizza or whatever for the students and the cheerleaders can come up with cheers for the student section. This way students will be engaged, know about the greatness of this basketball team, and will have a good time and show up for future games.
Yes the PMAC atmosphere right now is not good, but anyone who was at the Auburn, Tennessee, or Vandy games last year knows that it still has great potential.

Worth a shot. I remember the days of camping out at the PMAC. Great times. Unfortunately, those days of student fandom appear to be long gone.

I think someone else said it - LSU fans will come if it's a party. Basketball has never been a tailgate sport like baseball and football, but if you can create one that's when you will get the casual and new fans here at LSU.
Our group at work does one basketball tailgate a year and it's a blast and we get folks to the game that otherwise would not go. And we get pretty fired up going in.

Kentucky game is one no gimmicks are needed, but free beer for students before say...the Missouri game. Now that might work.
