LSU MBB fans need a detailed explanation…

Of what is going on with this program. It’s one thing to lose but this is simply unacceptable. This is McMahons’ roster and the level of play shows zero improvement. I’m a Woodward fan but, although this is year one, this level of incompetence should not be tolerated under any circumstances.

How much of is it his roster versus a roster he had to throw together? That's the only reason I'll hold off complete judgement until next year.
The showing zero improvement part though can't be defended. It's an absolute fact and a cause for concern.

The fans aren't owed an explanation. If the fans want to make a statement... then stop showing up for the games. Honestly, who has season tickets and actually leaves home for this bullshite team?

Job #1 this year was to field a team. It wasn't to win the SEC. No players on the roster, so he filled the roster. Ward looks good for a freshman and #34 as a rebounder and shot blocker. Reed also looks good as a shot blocker. He has to get better guard play and he will have to recruit that. He has one shooting guard coming in next year from high school.
IMO, the upperclassmen guards are too busy trying to play ISO basketball and find their own shot and they are terrible at it. There's simply too much dribbling and bad passing.

I'm just saying that many knew that there was no one on the roster when he came in. Essentially, he's going to have to build this basketball team through high school recruiting and not the transfer portal. Any transfers will largely be for bodies on the court. There simply aren't many great players looking to transfer.

Good God what a bunch of straw man nonsense. This is the most embarrassing LSU sports team in the past 25 years. Most every SEC Men's basketball game this season has been reasonably close except for games involving this joke of an LSU team. Nobody expected LSU to achieve anything this season, even an NIT birth. But consistent prison rapes to basketball powerhouses like Texas A&M are beyond garbage.
Every LSU player, coach, trainer, and ballboy should strip the LSU logo from his clothing until we can at least stop embarrassing ourselves. Or at least let's pay the SEC Network to stop televising this trash.
It must stop.
