Notre Dame has been the only non Nike school to make the CFP and didn’t have a different logo.

This is not an insignia of their footwear put on the uniforms, the uniforms are made by them. As are the footballs, helmet visors, gloves, hell even mouthpieces.
The thought that a company can only be what It was at inception is just silly.
