LSU in 2012 has a OU or UT type of schedule

The OU-UT situation: Every year these two are ranked higher than they should to begin the year, don't play anyone of consequence prior to their first weekend in October meeting, and then whoever wins that game is ranked in the top 3, and in a position to win it all if they do not choke down the stretch ( of course, the normally do choke, but that is a separate matter of not being able to close the deal). It pisses me off every year, and even moreso because even the loser of that game stays ranked high (and also usually is not strongly challenged thereafter) because, well, they lost to a "top-3 team".....To add insult to injury, the damn computers love the Big-12 too freakin much, so the second tier teams get too much credit also....but I digress....
LSU in 2012: THIS is why I have no issue with LSU having a soft schedule next year. Many schools waltz thru relatively easy schedules year after year, so bring it on for LSU in 2012. We can be buoyed up in the top-3 (probably 1st or 2nd) based on 2011, and the returning studs we have, and then play the rest of the "relatively easy" schedule like all these other teams do every year...If we perform, we'll be in a great position to play for the BCS once again.

People can bitch from other teams, but we have showed that we arent scared to play the best competition.

UW will probably be ranked in the back of the top 25 to begin next year thanks to Baylor's shite D last night so that will look good on paper.

ideally, UW will be 8-4 or better and therefore the top 20-25 ranking they will bring to the LSU game may actually stand up.

Florida state and Miami are pretty respectable OOC. Sorry...it is. I even respect big east games like cincy. Nothing wrong with that. I'm strictly talking about OU.

UDub might finish about 3rd in the Pac-12 next year plus we're adding a road game at aTm to our SEC schedule...it's not exactly a cakewalk

after this year's schedule, we can have room to play cupcakes.
i just hope it doesn't bite us in the SOS department, if it comes to matter at the end of the season.

I have absolutely NO problem with next season's schedule.
Mett needs those early games to get it going with the offense.
Perception of our schedule won't hurt us when we win the national championship this season. If we win the SEC next season with 0 or 1 loss there's no way the defending champ can be left out of the title game. (unless there's two undefeated teams obviously)

LSUs schedule blows away UTs lame schedule even in a year when our OOC games are not great. UT plays Wyoming, New Mexico, Baylor (who will go back to being Baylor), Kansas, Iowa St, Ole Miss, and TCU. UT refuses to play A&M. The only decent games are OU and OSU
