Great Analysis as usual SouthofSouth.

I am excited to see how our boys match up with a top 10 team. Marquette starting 2 seniors, a junior, and two sophomores.

A win tomorrow night against Marquette would be signature and would give the squad a much needed vote of confidence by the fans and the media.

I have a feeling the guys will be ready to go tomorrow night. I plan on making the game and I hope you do as well !

Right truth.

Stringer had shown that he worked hard on his game in the off-season. I feel for the kid. The shot fakes and ball fakes and improved passing or things I would have liked to have seen Turner add to his game this year.

IF we win, do we storm the court?

Ha, with the crowds I've seen I don't think they have the energy to storm the court.

But I hope we can muster some decent support and that the team can at least compete enough to give them a reason to be proud and come back.

need to do a better job getting turner into positions to score and get better looks. set more high screens, get a little 2 man game going with he and the hot hand big man.

he shouldn't be pouting, nothing wrong with being balanced(or at least trying to be) better than tas mitchell vs the world. kudos to storm for embracing his new role.

I'm good with that. We need the Turner I think we all expect he can be in order to compete with a team as legitimate as Marquette.

Storm has always been a team player. If he can keep hitting that free throw line jumper as consistently as he has been that is good for us if we can get Turner on board and Hickey playing more consistently.

O'Bryant being out of shape will minimize his effectiveness all year. That need to be his NO. 1 priority next year.

if we rebound the ball and shoot a good enough percentage early on we can hang around and have a chance. i don't see us beating them at their own game as far as getting out and running, which we've actually been okay at at times but not against teams as good as this.

I've been really happy with his play. He rarely turns the ball over and has actually hit some big shots for us.

This could be ULM-ALA. App State-Michigan. Dempsey's kick. The one everyone lies about saying they were there.
Hope it's close cause I think I'm going.

I got the special pricing on multi-game tickets and picked the top six games. Marquette, of course, is one. Kentucky obviously another.

So I'm driving over from Alabama Monday.

Geaux Tigers!!!

I've been the only guy on the CBass train but noone can complain about his PG play the past two games. I don't see him getting double double numbers but I see another solid performance. He ha got himself some playing time cause he takes care of the ball so well

Bass IMHO is our best on ball defender and is actually a good ball handler. The issue is he hasn't shown he can consistently shoot or finish well at the goal or make free throws. If teams are smart they slough way off him and play him to pass off drives and negate his abilities to drive and dish.

Some teams do still however give him some respect and when they do he can be effective driving and dishing.
