Back to 2-1-2 with Taylor (Group 2) up 3 with 4 to play. The two AS matches are group 1 and 3 so if LSU can get those into the W column, they are onto the semifinals later today.

If it stays 2-1-2, don't we win? We get points for the 2 we're ahead and half points for the two all square?

Back to 3-1-1...LSU won one match 4&3 (Taylor), so that point is in the bag. UCLA is 4 up through 14 in one match, so they're dormie there with a point likely. The other 3 matches have LSU 1 up through 13, 1 up through 16, and all square through 15. Going to be close.

Thompson AS going into 18. Would be huge to pick up that point.

UCLA won a match 4&3, so it's 1-1 in the books now. LSU has another match 1 up through 17 (dormie) and another 1 up through 15. The last is all square on 18.

Alabama whipped SMU this morning, so it looks like it's going to be an LSU-Bama semifinal this afternoon.

That's a bit harsh. "Choked" isn't a term I'd use to describe a competitor who played me close for 17 holes. Golf is golf. shite happens.

We don't know how he made double. He could've gotten a crappy break. But, yea, making a double with the team's season on the line is pretty much choking unless something really strange happened.
