Jolly was #2 out for LSU. Taylor had already played the hole with the Asst. Coach walking with him and Bama driving the green and making Eagle.

Well Jolly grabbed I think 2 clubs until he went with the hybrid. Had driver first, then and iron, all the while the coach was coaching him.

Higher seed gets to elect to pick or defer with the first paring. Then it alternates:
Assuming Bama deferred:
1 - LSU...Bama
2 - Bama...LSU
3 - LSU...Bama

It's match play. U try to gain an advantage on ur opponent. U hit a bad drive there and you lose automatically. U can hit hybrid or iron in the fairway and then force the other players hand. Not sure he hits driver if that ball hits fairway.

Jolly missed the fairway by 2 feet...Shelton was taking Driver the whole way...at worst he's in the greenside bunker.

There's only a trap on either side. The right trap is short sided so hit it into the left trap at worst. My point is is that he had driver and the coach pulled him back. I don't like this coaching on the course crap. Let the kids play. Now I have to blame the coaches for this loss.

at that point, after winning 13, I've got the ball on the tee and ready to fire pretty quickly, they contemplated for a pretty good while which did nothing but put indecision in Jolly's mind.

U ever play match play in competition? Doesn't work like that. U have to see how u are hitting the ball. He was swinging like crap. It was the safe smart play and he still mishit it.
