There is no excuse for Bama to drop 7 spots with a loss against their in-state rival and with a backup qb.
They should have been lower to begin with. Everyone on here was saying that 2 weeks ago.
Good lord.

Ok then... Based on what????? I can't believe you won't get this. The fix is in man. There is no way bama drops 7 after losing by three on the road with a backup QB while Michigan drops only 1 spot after getting sckull dragged at home by 30.

No.
Thanks for the eloquent reply.

Say the same for Bama then. Bama would beat anyone between them and UGA RIGHT NOW on a neutral field. And it wouldn't even be close.
Maybe so, but my point was Michigan can't be much lower than 14
I wasn't making a Bama argument

A statement like this doesn't deserve much more of response.

Thanks for proving my point

Yes they should be. The only team Michigan best that is worth a flip is a overated ND team.you are just trying to keep Michigan relevant is to help OSU and it's ranking.

Is there really that much of a difference in the 14th spot and the 16th spot for the CFP?
That's the hill you're dying on?

Nope. You have yet to give me even ONE reason why bama dropped 7 spots and Mich only dropped one spot. BTW do you think Bama would beat Michigan???

You're reaching on this one.
The ability to attend games does not give anyone more of a right to voice their opinion on such matters.
families, life and location are unavoidable hindrances.
It also has nothing to do with the team's ranking.
The idea that just going to games makes one a bigger fan that someone who does not go to games is absurd, just someone looking for validation.

quote:ND has 1 less loss, it would not be absurd to have them ahead of Michigan.
At 14 they are one spot above a ND team they beat by 30
quote:Fair point but using this logic means that Pen St should be ranked 19th behind Minnesota then?
and two spots above an Iowa team they beat on the road

Utah would be the easier matchup, a lot of Ohio State fans would still prefer LSU.
100% of Ohio State fans believe LSU is the easier matchup when it comes to them or Clemson.
Either way, good luck tomorrow! We hope to see you guys at some point in the playoffs!

I think Alabama would beat Michigan. I also thought Alabama would beat Auburn. I also think Michigan would beat Auburn. Who the hell knows. Ohio State and LSU are both in the playoffs, who cares.

Who are the four teams if LSU and OHIO State both lose?
Posted on 12/6/19 at 2:04 pm to Bengals18
Let's say Ohio State and LSU both lose CLOSE games.
1. Clemson vs. 4. LSU
2. UGA vs. 3. Ohio State
1. Clemson vs. 4. LSU
2. UGA vs. 3. Ohio State

Then OSU fans would be wrong. Clemson would do to OSU what they did to Bama last year. Clemson could not do that to LSU.
