I have said this in at least 5 threads and gotten no response that was even close to coherent.

Where do you want the committee to move Michigan?

At 14 they are one spot above a ND team they beat by 30 and two spots above an Iowa team they beat on the road. Leaving Michigan ahead of those teams makes sense.

Tell me who you would have above Michigan who is below them now? I don't think there is a team below them who I legit think is better than them.

Teams below Michigan:

ND
Iowa
Memphis
Minny
Boise
Cincy
AppSt
USC
UVA
Navy
Okie St.

I want Armageddon
Ohio St wins
LSU wins
UVA upsets Clemson knocking them out
Utah and Oklahoma both win

Baylor winning is more armageddon.

Does 1 loss Baylor go before 2 loss UGA? Or 1 loss Clemson?

I think Bama with Tua could beat LSU, should I rank them ahead of the Tigers?

They didn't.

Biased because they don't have the SEC teams as high as the AP/Coaches poll, which are biased as well?

Except those polls have a larger pool that spans across the entire platform who doesn’t give a shite about which teams “bring in the most viewers” whereas the committee is a small group pushed by a television market.

Showing that ranking teams by who you THINK would win by illustrating the obviously flaw in that is a dumb point?

Ok.

Yes, when those teams have actually played then your hypothetical becomes worthless.

Dude. The committee has already made up its mind. They realize that LSU has a better shot at beating Clemson than OSU does. So they will keep OSU at #1. Meanwhile if UGA and Utah lose and OU wins then we have a real juicy matchup of OU vs. OSU which is definitely what you don't want.

Say the same for Bama then. Bama would beat anyone between them and UGA RIGHT NOW on a neutral field. And it wouldn't even be close.

OU's offense is below average. And their offense is predicated on QB power. Not a good recipe against Ohio State.

There is no excuse for Bama to drop 7 spots with a loss against their in-state rival and with a backup qb.

Ok sure.... Whatever helps you sleep at night. I'll say this yet again. It's all about ratings. What happened the last time OSU faced Clemson in the playoffs????????
