I think there are trains you can take. I have no idea where Buckhead is but I heard there are trains and stuff all near the dome. Lots of stuff within walking distance.

Is Buckhead on the outskirts of Atlanta? Yeah, I'm too lazy to look it up.

Take the MARTA into downtown, then cab it home after the game.

LSU's official hotel is usually the Marriott downtown, it has a sportsbar inside that will be slam-packed with Tiger fans.

There are two sportbars near the stadium as well, jock-n-jill's is like 2 blocks from the gates.

You can take the Marta train downtown for about $4.

And I think buckhead saloon is an LSU bar according to the Atlanta alumni association.

I live in Atl and will give you a quick rundown...

Friday - don't go downtown. Not alot going on down there, it's pretty much a ghost town unless something is happening that day. Midtown is better, start at Front Page News (alot of NOLA influence, Abita on tap). LSU fans should be in all the bars in that area (Crescent Avenue). If you want to stay in Buckhead, go to East Andrews - it's awesome people watching and huge. Fado's is a good time as well. LSU fans will be all over that scene as well.

Saturday - If you want to drink before the game and don't have a tailgate, head to Stats. It's a sports bar around the corner from the dome, and they have beer taps built into the tables. You don't even need the waitress, they just meter the beer.

The train is convenient from Buckhead, sorry bro. Just take cabs...

Hope this helps.
