Yeah, you're right. I didn't scan the depth chart. The post I quoted was to a post he replied to that said "Bower starting behind true freshman divinity", or something like that. But I agree with what you said.

I read where he is an average pass catcher. Doesn't matter though. We have TE's that can catch the hell out of the ball and we still don't throw to them.

No... WE ARE DBU. We just have that much depth. SS started the Spring Game because Donte was "suspended", and a host of other injuries/hold outs.
ETA: and because there are 4 starting CB's in the Spring Game.

Hopefully they'll work it out. I can't see transferring benefitting him at this point. They're going to rotate players in and out this year the keep fresh players in, and he's one play away from an injury putting him with the 1's. He'll have much more visibility to the NFL scouts where he's at.
