This was supposed to be a frickin practice update.

1.People saying Jl will improve, are the ones that think that JJ is just gonna get worse or something. The confidence, poise, and yes his frickin moxy is unprecidented as a true freshman.
JR was a mess behind center as a true freshman and look how he improved and compare that with Jordan's fr year. Looking by the muscle JJ put on means his arm strength and overall ability will be better, not even taking into account how much more crisp he will be with decision making and confidence. JJ has "IT" as a qb.

No, it isn't. It is impressive to be sure, but hardly unprecedented. It's not even unprecedented at LSU in the last dozen years or so. Herb Tyler was a true freshman, and he took over for four games (not two), and he didn't lose any of them (including a 28-0 win over SEC-West Champ Arkansas).

If Jordan can progress the way Herb did, then it will take a freakin' miracle for Lee to beat him out.

This is the Lee supporter's worst nightmare of a statement, coming from you, K.J.

Hotrod and Tojo to the rescue!

Every qb throws interceptions, your best ones throw some interceptions. Tebow and the Oklahouma qb each threw two interceptions in the championship.

Granted, but Tebow and JL were operating at opposite ends of the QB spectrum last year. I am not anti-JL. I hope he stays, improves, and contributes postively. He's got an incredible release and his resiliency is off the charts.

Honestly, I thought the what the Peach Bowl showed most was how much of our season's struggles were directly related to poor coaching of the secondary. Our defense was riddled by every decent (and some crappy) team whose passing game had a pulse. Then we finally face a quality team that can't consistently attack the secodary through the air, and we absolutely smothered them. Had Georgia Tech been able to borrow Troy's QB (or Appy State's), that is an entirely different ballgame, and one we very well might have lost.

deangelo peterson getting reps at TE?
Are they actually running him there as a TE (i.e., blocking, outlet routes, middle drags, etc.), or is this another funky Wizard formation where he's really a 3rd or 4th WR but lined up next to the Tackle?

had LSU been able to borrow florida's defense in the 2008 season, they might have won all their games.

I don't think you can assign all the Chick-Fil-A Bowl success to the fact that GT was a run-oriented offense. Our DL underperformed throughout the year. Apart from Alem, we didn’t have much pass rush from our DL. They were supposed to have been dominant.

The whole defense last year was a one big season long train-wreck.

I find it comical that some say "if JL starts, or comes out throws incomp, or int the crowd will boo him"

My quesiton to the numbnuts that spew this crap is if we follow that path of fanhood,,, shouldnt our Defense get an equal booing>>>??? I mean this is the New America... fairness and equality is everything.

I meant that is was unprecedented in college football in the last few years IMO.

JJ potential as freshman>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Herb tyler's potential.

And the only side of the coin the fans give a crap about right now are those damn pick 6s.
I disagree. I think the only side the fans really give a crap about is wins. If Lee puts up 38 points and we beat Florida 38-14 with two pick 6s, I'm pretty sure the fans will be alright with that. At least I hope our fans can be that intelligent.

Any word on his speed? Not sure which would be better; more bulk to take the hits better or more speed to avoid them more often. Hopefully he can add both.

Dont get ahead of yourself chief.

well sport, to think Jlee is gonna improve soooooo much and win the job over a stagnet(improving) JJ is fricking stupid Chief. Don't get ahead of yourself Hauss.
