The stuff isn't easily swept under the rug anymore. Not in this day of social networking. 15 yrs ago this stuff doesn't even make the news.

Thats OUR SENIOR LEADER. What a LEADER he is.

HBT is a fricking idiot. Having said that, did you attend college? They had a day off, and went out. A fight breaks out, well it's fricking college.

I would press charges too. And people are crazy if they think witnesses are going to alter their story for Jefferson. I think more people around Baton Rouge don't like JJ than do.

Maybe an attempt at a curb stomp but missed or just grazed him.

Total speculation. I'll stop.

If he someone got kicked in the face they need punishment certainly. Other than that this is no big fricking deal contrary to the screaming pussies on here calling for year long suspensions based on total fricking hearsay.

If facts come out and show that this merits more action then there will be more action.

When I was in school this shite happened all the fricking time and people didn't lose their tampons over it. Christ.

The continued PUSSIFICATION of America.

I think we can mostly all agree to this

1. Let's wait for all of the facts to come to light

2. If it was a typical and relatively fair bar fight whoever involved should be subject to some punishment but maybe not a suspension.

3. If anyone really did kick a guy in the head while he was down, that person should face criminal charges and a lengthy suspension from the football program.

Is there anything to argue with about that?

I'm on board with all except #2. I think if it was a fight--even a "fair" one--a suspension has to take place. Even if it's just for 1 game. That said, any speculation on when Les will announce his decision? He's gonna have to get the other QBs--and backup at the other positions if there are other suspensions--reps and prepared to play.

I hope Les called Lee and Mett into his office today (or tomorrow). And maybe even Rivers and Randall, too. Time for everybody to step up their games a bit and get uber focused.

peej i have no problem with the guy being out with teammates.

these kids aren't angels they are college kids. he shouldn't have stomped someone if he indeed did something like that.

Then wouldn't they alter their stories against him if they don't like him?

Dumbass.

So now it matters whether a foot or fist was used. Or whether the target was standing or laying down?

stupid.

yeah it does matter. If the kid getting kicked in the head was your mom would you feel the same way? Just let them play? What if it were a random thug from the ghetto kicking your mom? Just let them go on about their day? Or is it because they are LSU football players you're ok with letting them off? What they allegedly did is NOT OK and if they are charged with these crimes they should be prosecuted to whatever extent the DA's office deems necessary.

Bottom line, LSU football players or not, kids were injured and were violently assaulted.

Someone needs to and should pay for what they did.

Prediction from the LSU "Fanbase"...

JJ doesn't play. LSU gets beat badly by Oregon.

It's JJ's fault because no one else had enough snaps with the 1's to get ready.

(same script from the Perrilloux exit).

problem is so many rantards want another QB they are calling for some "noble" punishment of someone that isn't even charged yet.

Again the drooling LSU fan eats his own

shite happens in bars and that is fine. boys being boys.

pulling someone out of their car and stombing someone else who was trying to break up the fight while they are down is not normal imo.

Exactly.
It makes me sick to see people taking up for them and hoping this gets swept under the rug.

Again, the kick obviously wasn't that much if he didn't require an elongated stay in the hospital. They were all routinely checked like everyone that goes to the hospital and were cleared immediately

If you kick a defenseless person laying on the ground, pretty sure you are gonna do some damage
