Ah...the good ‘old days.

When we fielded arguably the best team/defense in LSU history

Best game I ever saw physically present in the stadium. Better even than the Florida game we made all the 4th downs. Next was the NFL title game 1966, in the Cotton Bowl stadium, the Cowboys and Packers the year before the Ice Bowl. I’ll stop before boring everyone.

I prefer to go back further. We ended losing the national championship to them.

No idea how we could have two completely different teams between that game and the NCG.

Would really liked to have been a fly on the wall in that locker room.

We weren't two different teams, and that's what did us in.

Saban adjusted his approach for 1/9, Miles didn't.

I meant in demeanor and drive. We looked like hot shite in that game.

I know Miles didn’t help anything by making no adjustments, but how does a no-loss LSU team walk into the NCG game and have absolutely no swagger?

It seemed like the whole JJ/JL thing slowly divided the team. We'll probably never know for certain.

Easy, psychological advantage. I forgot who mentioned it, but they had to act like they were excited for ESPN that bama had gotten in when they panned to them during selection show.

You had to play and win, when they sat at home.

Just crazy that we could look so beaten for an entire 4 QTRS.

Not going to be the case this Saturday!
