They have a place in St. Aug. called Shaughnessy's Sports Grill next to Publix at the corner of US 1 South and Wildwood that might have the Saints games, not sure though.... Starting PT school?

I recieved this email yesterday,i went a couple of times last year, had a blast get there early

Hey Tiger Fans,

It's that time again. Are you ready for some FOOTBALL? One again we will be gathering at Times Grill on Baymeadows Road at 9A (10915 Baymeadows Rd) to watch the games. They are going to have drink specials for us.

The season starts on September 5th against University of Washington. The game starts at 10:30 p.m. ET. The guys at the Grill have agreed to stay open late, so we can watch the game. But please let me know if you plan on going to watch it there, so they have an idea of how many people to expect.

I will not be at the first game, as I will be out of town that weekend. But yes, I am back. And to all of those who offered to help, you will be called on. Also, anyone else that would like to become more involved, please let me know. Suggestions for new activities and committees are welcome.

Finally, we'll be doing a membership drive, so please remember to pay your dues. We've set up a Paypal account and I'll send more information on that.

Let's have a great season and GEAUX TIGERS!

You won't have a problem seeing most of the LSU games over here. However, if you want to watch with a group of Tiger fans the place to go in Jacksvonville is the Times Grille at Baymeadows and 9A. This is where the First Coast Tigers club meets to watch. Turnout is generally pretty good and the really big games are usually a lot of fun.

Listen to LSU JAX. The Times on Baymeadows is definitely the best place to watch the games if you want to be surrounded by Tiger fans.

Harry's just down the street is probably the closest you'll get to decent Cajun food. It's decent, but most true Cajun's would probably thumb there nose up at it because half the dishes are not really Cajun...

Jax,

Too bad you never ate at the original Harry's at the Jacksonville Landing. It opened in 1987 as a seafood market/oyster bar. My brother moved over here in January of '88 and joined up with them. To this day the Harry's owner will tell you that my brother is the reason that the franchise went in "New Orleans atmosphere" direction.

The cajun food at the Landing Harry's from 1988 til at least 1997 was OUTSTANDING!! Truly authentic. I came over in 1990 and managed it from '91 to '97, while my brother went around and helped open other stores. He went back to Baton Rouge in '97 and I left to finish school at UNF. Without us, but more specifically him, the cajun dishes at Harry's these days aren't nearly as good as what we served at the Landing.

Yes, I am starting PT school here in St. Augustine in September. Me and a few Louisiana people have been trying to figure out how we are going to watch the games. The best thing I have figured out thus far is using a Slingbox. The slingbox will be hooked up to my parents dish in Louisiana, and I will access my own box on the internet. Then I can hook up my computer to my tv and watch all the games that way. But otherwise, I appreciate all the input and the town of St. Augustine has been pretty nice for the last couple of weeks. Just wish there weren't as many gator fans here. Go Tigers!!!

Nice. Just finished up my 1st year there. You'll be able to catch most of the games on tv. UF fans are everywhere, which sucks, but they are fun to argue with. Just tell 'em Tebow's nothing without Harvin and they get pissed. Good luck with 1st semester, and if nobody told you yet, all you need is the anatomy book and the goniometry book for 1st term; everything else is a waste of money.
