I have been very critical of Les as a coach, but I think he could succeed in a fundraising role similar to what Skip did.

Louisiana has hardly had any leaders that have helped Louisiana become profitable, Les Miles has been awesome in that regard for LSU. Lousiana needs more people like Les Miles.

In the end it is a business decision and LSU needs to move on.

I'd rather have someone extremely profitable like Les Miles around LSU and Louisiana in some capacity, it is a business decision, a damn strong one.

Les would do well at Texas - get them the right guys and they'd be happy to have 8-4 seasons for a few years.

If Les is so honorable he would quietly move on and not want us to pay his buyout. We'll see how this turns out.

Les Miles would thrive at Texas, but I hope he stays in Louisiana and assists our state. We have so few leaders who make our state profitable.

Definitely dont want this to get ugly as ive always liked and respected Miles. Hopefully he gets to leave with dignity. But it is definitely time for a change.

Agreed, looks like it's time for a change, but Miles also deserves to leave with dignity. I hope it's handled well by LSU, I know that's asking a lot, since LSU usually doesn't peform such tasks well.

Without a doubt Les Miles is a top ten guy. I would recommend him to be anyones father. But face the facts. He's a run type mentality and in this day and age you have to be balanced 50/50 run and pass. Year after year I scratched my head as to how he can go into the locker room at halftime and make no changes. If I were him and keep seeing the penalties taking Leonard Fournet's big plays being called back, heck, taking Leonard mentally out of the game, I would have a stroke.

Les should put up his salary against 10 wins.

Win 10? Get paid. Win 9? Get paid 1/2. Win 8? Get paid 1/4. Win 7? Get help packing.

Well, he is, les could have easily left us for Michigan, but he stayed instead. Les enjoyed becoming a Louisiana man and enjoys being around Louisiana people. Saban didn't, he's mocked us.

Oh, there was a lot of excitement all right, a lot of which should never have happened:

Tennessee 2005
Arkansas 2007
Troy 2008
Ole Miss 2009
LA Tech 2009
Tennessee 2010
McNeese 2010
Arkansas 2013
Ole Miss 2013

Saban has been the most successful coach in CF and while Les Miles has had success he's also been the most exciting coach in CF according to most opposing fans. Those are the facts.
