college football stadiums generally sucks after the game.... it's not a LSU specific problem
People here fetishize the traffic situation in Baton Rouge. It's pretty bad but you'd swear it was the LA freeway at 5 pm out there.

Would it be possible to have a short concert in the stadium so many might be tempted to stay for awhile after the game and ease traffic flow?

Yes, I think most on the board don't like the piped in music or "fans" leaving early.
And would like to see both ended.
I have noticed and not only here but colleges across the country and also in high schools here as well a "relaxing" of enforcement of the rules concerning music.
I know this rule was enforced when I played in the band in high school and college, but I don't know why it isn't always enforced now.
I'm glad you had a good time, at least outside the stadium, and good luck to you guys the rest of the season.

If we don't leave early we don't get home until after midnight. It's intolerable.
For the thousandth time, this argument is bullshite. The commute to and from the game is the quickest it's been in 15 years.
For people who have young kids, I understand their leaving early. But for everyone else, it is the world's pansies the excuse to say that they need to get home by 10:30 rather than midnight (though the only time that's happened this year was the game that had the hour long weather delay, but even then the drive itself was not long).
Why spend all the money on tickets to only watch half the game? That's fricking retarded.

Glad you had a good time. Hopefully my LSU plate doesn't trigger you here in Indy

People leave for blowouts. I guess you boys are never on the good end of that or you would know.

I attend a good number of away games and there are lots of things at every one that can become a pretty big pain in the arse...sounds like you managed to navigate through that and have a good time. glad you guys had a nice time and hope you come back soon!

Tear out the ribbon boards too. I'm not here for that. It's distracting. I'm entertained enough by the football game and all.
Oh wait less advertising pollution in the stadium (Que the deaf ears)

You responded to me but I think we agree. It's a lame excuse for leaving a game early.
