LSU ENCORES INVADE SUNDAY NIGHTS ON CST
Every Sunday night, tune in to CST for football encores from the 2009 season

NEW ORLEANS - Cox Sports Television, your home for everything and anything LSU, is preparing for the 2010 football season by replaying all the wins from the 2009 season for the Tigers. Coming up this Sunday at 7:00pm is the game against the Vanderbilt Commodores at Tiger Stadium - the 2009 SEC season opener.

Unlike the season opener against the Washington Huskies where the Tigers’ offense could barely stay on the field, LSU ran 72 plays including 41 in the first half against the Dores. Running back Keiland Williams led the way with two touchdowns, one in the first quarter and the other coming in the fourth to seal the win.

With rain affecting play throughout the game, the Tigers didn't take that many chances downfield, but quarterback Jordan Jefferson still managed to have an efficient evening, going 20-for-29 for 138 yards. LSU's defense stepped up, playing a great game and allowing Vandy only 88 yards in the air.

Come join us again on July 18th and watch the Tigers play the ULL Ragin’ Cajuns.

I've watched the replay of the Washington game twice this week and had forgot how horrible we looked against a team that won 0 games the year before. The ran up and down the field on us.

At one point in the 4th qtr, the announcer said Washington had converted 12 of 14 3rd downs.

I know two of them were for over 20 yards...

I'm not sure I can take watching us barely beat Vandy at home...

They need to show some older LSU games from previous seasons. Vintage games and such.
