ok...we get it...you don't like DII teams and do not recognize them as "real" teams...

actually you are the one that has proven you have no clue...where did I say they are as competitive as D1?

My actually statement was...

quote:

Yes at first the step up would set them back some and no one would expect them to immediately compete for the JCWS DI title but with the move up its quite possible they could start attracting better talent than what they have now to be able to consistently compete at that level

please find my post where I stated DII is as competitive as DI...

No...I'm rolling my eyes at your statement and being an arse in bashing teams and players that play at the DII level as not being "real" teams and "real" ball players...

so with your statements and philosophy JUCO D1 is crap to the NCAA as well...and are not "real" teams when compared to the NCAA...

everyone knows d1 is better than d2 thanks for pointing out the obvious and everyone knows that there is really not much comparison in the competition. i would like to see them make the move just so more of their regular season games would be competitive but also once you make it to the world series in okc the competition is good. many times D1jc is better than most 4 year colleges because players can go their and get drafted after one year if they score high enough on ACT or SAT. saying this i also believe they would still be competitive in D1jc not as dominant but very competitive because they are well coached and their coaching staff demands that they do the little things right. They are very fun to watch because they hustle the way you are supposed to and you can go watch the game and get very close to the action cause it is a smaller school. Good luck on Saturday Bengals we will be rooting for you

You ever played? Just curious cause I played both and can tell you there is not that much difference in D1 and D2. Played against Merdian when they went to the WS and played against the #1 team in D2 (itawamaba) the same year and ICC would smoked their arse.

Plus I played at LSU-E and am very biased towards them

Can LSU-E recruit all over or they just allowed a few out of state players.

Yes, they can recruit out-of-state players. There is no limit.

Alot of teams couldn't compete with the big teams of D1. But LSU-E could play with the D1 teams. They get pretty much every juco kid they want in LA. Which is normally ones with no grades for major D1. Or some which are overlooked by LSU which is a bunch in LA. Some kids go to LSU-E over going to a mid major becuase it still gives hope that they will play at LSU.
