All of a sudden, Steve E and Linehan know what their doing. All of a sudden Finley looks like the better qb.

We ran for 200 yards. We couldn’t get one yard on four tries against Mizzou. TJ had a clean pocket and time, Myles was getting hit left and right. To the point he got injured.

This is taking nothing away from the coaches or Finley. The MVP’s for beating USC is the O line. The plays called, work better when they win the battle. The performance of the qb is better when there is a run game and time to throw.

This. It’s like no one has noticed how much better protection Finley had, and how much better push the line was getting for running plays.

It was the difference in the offense sustaining clock eating drives too.

Started to mention this same point last night but at my age I figured I'd better go to bed.

But you're spot on I think. But I do attribute a lot of this to SC not being so stout on the DL as well.

At any rate, we won, I'm happier than I was, and out defense is still weaker that it should be.

It's also because, unlike Miss St. and Mizz, USCe never blitzed.

Finley was the key to it you fools, he was a threat to run so they couldn’t key in on the running back.

He also steps in to the pocket and doesn’t run like a bitch at the site of the first black man.

Ed Ingram is by far the best lineman. I hope we get some more offensive line talent in this cycle like Leigh and Byrd. Having Dellinger, Dumervil, and Thomas - Craig and O are slowly building a very good offensive line. Foreman and Smith would make and elite defensive line with Guillory and Roy.

All the qb controversy idiots need to stfu! When backs are getting holes and clearing the los before first contact a team can go. As bad as our line has been the offensive is still productive. They did well last night, they kept our d on the sideline and made a frosh look great.
