I’ll give Wade credit for that. The rest y’all can debate.

So much excitement for LSU basketball early on, will be really sad if they don’t make the NCAA tournament.

That is one fault i see.

They don't have nearly enough shooting. It is so important in basketball today.

Just think if gaines could shoot.

One more shooter and one more experienced inside scorer from the transfer portal would done wonders for this team.

I've said from the beginning Murray is a good shooter and that will be proven as the year goes on. 3-5 from 3 last night.

I'm disappointed Days has fallen off in that department. I thought he was a better shooter, and I still think he can be he just needs to pick and choose his shots better.

As to the paying hard that is this teams identity and I like no better identity than a team that brings it hard for 40 minutes each game....this one does.

Now if we could just 86 the stupid turnovers.

This is the most frustrating part of this LSU basketball team.

Brandon Murray is a consistent shooter and is just now starting to take on that mantle. he has become more aggressive looking for his shot and they run screens to get him open. Once we get Pinson back we will have 2.

Without Miller we knew this would be an issue. It’s gone from something we can overcome offensively to untenable with Days and Pinson out

It is what it is. Any offense will struggle bigly with 3 of their 4 main outside shooters out

When days and Pinson come back it’s going to make a world of difference.

I would venture to say there’s still a lot of excitement, hence the student attendance last night. Would you be willing to ban bet if they make the tournament or not? Because without a colossal and I do mean colossal collapse, they are pretty much locks

Agree on shooting poorly, the turnovers to me is the most frustrating part of this team. At times very careless with the ball to the point they don't make it to half court. Protect the ball.

We don’t shoot enough to know if we have any shooters!! We pass it around for most of the shot clock and then force something

Murray is going to be a monster when he gets more comfortable in the system.

I thought last night was a big improvement. Considering the amount of offense that was out, to put up 70 was good.

Do we have good shooters? No.
Will we hang 90 on anybody? Probably not.

I still want to see us take good, open shots, within the flow of the offense. Whether it be Fudge, Gaines, Wilkinson. When you have the shot, take it.

One example is Fudge last night. He passed up a wide arse open 3 and drove into the lane, where three defenders were waiting. The result was the same as if he would have missed the three. So I would love to see more confidence in his ability to shoot. Those are the shots you just have to make. Once you do, the rest of the offense opens up.
