LSU doesn’t have the respect of the NCAA or nation anymore

Nothing anyone here doesn’t know already but Alabama gets a 5* linebacker who was granted release to be closer to family, when Alabama is significantly farther away that the player’s family. NCAA approval, no questions asked.
Georgia gets an immediately eligible transfer. No questions asked, just immediately eligible to play.
Meanwhile at LSU, Fulton got a 2 year ban for a drug test that he passed (not discounting what he did because he WAS wrong) but 2 years is ridiculously extreme. I felt confident the NCAA would allow Fulton to play this season, realizing they were being ridiculous.
But let’s be honest; we’re no longer looked at as a powerhouse. We are nationally perceived as a Wisconsin, Michigan State, or Nebraska level program at the moment. The NCAA does not fear an LSU Athletic Department firestorm the way they do from blue blood programs.
The NCAA doesn’t fear or respect LSU. This kind of stuff clearly doesn’t happen to Alabama or Georgia because their AD’s would raise hell. This kind of stuff wouldn’t happen to Michigan, Ohio State, or Clemson because their AD’s would rip the NCAA a new one.
Our AD certainly will not. The NCAA doesn’t respect Alleva or O and certainly no longer respects LSU football IMO.

There is no proof that Joe Alleva likes to watch men have liaisons with his wife, or that he likes to eat creampies.
If you don't like the man, fine, but don't paint him to be a sexual deviant without any proof.

these kinds of conspiracy theories are really pathetic.
I don't particularly like the NCAA either, but to think they're biased in favor or Bama or UGA, and shite on us, is just infantile thinking.

What has LSU won in the last 10 years?
1 SEC title?
1 SEC title?

No proof that he doesn’t either. Also Duke Lacrosse.

No, there is a reason. Next.

Perhaps but there’ve been several instances where the NCAA has turned a blind eye to Alabama.
Cam & Hootie being pretty recent.
Hell, After Saban loses a game he gets on the microphone and spews some shite about player safety and the national media takes notice. Rules get changed. That’s because he and Alabama are respected in a way that we are not.

Well I mean, cheating on a drug test is a lot worse than trying to grant release to be closer to family. Pretty big difference there.

lol after 12 years of having a cartoon character for a coach I was hoping we could be taken seriously but now we have the Cajun Cookie Monster and the laughs keep coming...at our expense. Thanks Joe

Fired Les Miles and hired Ed Orgeron as Head Coach and gave him a ridiculous contract.
The nation noticed and continues to laugh its arse off.
Can't blame them...it's funny. A powerhouse relegated to a clown show.

I don't blame anyone for laughing. Honestly, if Florida or Alabama fired a coach with the record of Miles and hired a coach with a record like Orgerons how do you think we'd be reacting? It's pathetic and deserves to be laughed at. Except it's not funny bc it's our school

So the NCAA should punish people for not committing a crime and not breaking a NCAA rule.
There were no charges filed.
