LSU buying all the tickets:

quote:
According to UCLA's Central Ticket Office, tickets to this weekend's Los Angeles Regional have been selling quickly. The tickets were made available at 10 a.m. PT Monday morning, and as 2 p.m., only about 100 general admission tickets and just a "handful" of full-session reserve seats remained. The alarming thing for UCLA? A large chunk of the ticket sales have gone to fans of Louisiana State -- this according to UCLA's CTO.

So they added 650 seats this year and their stadium is still that small? Does the 1250 seats that has been reported on this site include the new 650? That can't be right. It is small, but not that small right?

I will get you a live crow to eat. Southern Cali has a very large number of alumni and I believe that there will be many from Louisiana that are traveling.

I'm not sure of the exact number of members, but the LSU Alumni Chapter in Phoenix is very active as well. I am sure a lot of them will make the easy 6 hour drive to L.A.

What bar was the LSU Alumni Bar in San Diego? I'll be out there this weekend for the San Diego Marathon.
How long would it take to drive from Mission Valley area to UCLA's stadium?

Yeah, Kent State is going to have quite a home game if you ask me.

We drove on Sunday down to San Diego and back. It took us about 2 hours to get home.
Try to drive up here for the game.

Taking traffic into consideration - around 2.5 hrs (or less).
