Bama's loss of Locksley/Gattis

Saban runs that defense. He always has. Losing place holders/figure heads isn't going to change.
I was referring to the loss of their co-OC's. Gattis was about the same as Joe Brady. He installed the Spread/RPO for Tua.
From all I've read, Sarkisian is scrapping last year's offense and putting in a much more traditional slow-developing pass offense. This O will steam-roll most of the SEC, but LSU's D should match up very well against it.

Gattis had eight years of college experience and seven years as college positional coach experience, including a four-year long stint at the same school. He is not the same as Joe Brady.

Gattis was at Bama for one season only. And Gattis got his RPO education from the same source Brady did. At Penn State from Moorhead.
And I'll take Brady's 2 years with Payton and Brees over Gattis' 4 years with NC, Western Mich, and Vandy... any day.

1st of all there is no way LSU beats Texas by 4 tds..... and LSU is not gonna beat Bama.... you can post all the crap you want, but it just won’t happen.

Not saying Texas is a bad team But the match-up couldn't be much worse for Texas. Particularly in the early season with the most inexperienced pass defense in power-5 football.
True, but we don't usually look too sharp either early on. I hope that Orgeron doesn't hide the offense against Georgia Southern. We need to have some real game experience running plays before we roll into a hostile environment in Austin.

He also stated that LSU won't beat UT by 4 TD's and not that LSU won't beat UT. Don't take his shite out of context.

I'm glad it's a day game. I do like the team we return, and Bama lost some monsters, up front.
By that time, we will know just about every question on offense, heading into the fall. Let's see how things play out.

Let's see it first......

quote:I agree. Most offenses aren't very sharp in September. That's why I think that if LSU's offense is advanced enough to beat Texas by 4 TDs, then Bama will have more than they can handle in November.
True, but we don't usually look too sharp either early on.
I'm not saying a 4 TD margin is probable, but certainly possible. 35-7, 42-14... something like that.
