re: lsu baseball uniforms

Stupid thread. Warren Morris looked great when hitting his homerun as did schimpf tonight. A nike stripe would have made no differenece.

If Stringfellow has any say, which he might, he wants the whole school to be nike. Allevo needs to be like Joe Dean and try to force a school thing on everyone and stop every program looking out for themselves. It will mean less stuff to buy for camps since the volume for workout stuff will be higher so the free stuff will be more. The only issues is whether the Russell people will try to keep Coach M on advisory staff (paying him for wearing the unies).

I tried to do same thing at my school but the AD didn't listen to Boss, T-Joe or Richie. He thought I was using K-State as my advisors.

Gold uni's are the best...Nike sucks.

Alabama has Nike uniforms as well as Easton bats/batting gloves. So if Alabama and Ole Miss can do it, I'm sure LSU can as well.

You talking about the DESIGN or the QUALITY of the uniforms?

None of the uniform maufacturers actually design the uniforms. That's done by the coaches, players and equipment managers of the teams.

What difference can you see from the stands between a Russell Athletic and Nike uniform.

I'd like to see everybody in the SEC wearing Russell. Would be good to see all the Southeastern Conference teams support a company from Alabama, instead of Oregon.

As for the design, personally I prefer jersey's with the stripes around the neck and down the front, like our Whites. We used to have a gold jersey with a purple/white stripe and I liked it a lot better than the solid gold.......

Who gives a shite what brand they are. You worry about the uniforms and I'll worry about stuff that matters like the players wearing them and winning 50 games in them

it seems to me only the gold jerseys hang weird on the players

the white ones are nice, and the midweeks jerseys are fine

the gold and purple seem a little odd
