That's right. I forgot he played one season at UNO and could transfer to LSU and play immediately.

With Stallings signing we're at 41/35. Still awaiting Poche's decision, but it's looking more and more like the Padres are spending money elsewhere.

We always seem to lose a player or two over the summer and also either before or during fall practice. Plus the seemingly inevitable injury and Tommy John surgery of at least one pitcher.

I'm still leaning that way. I think they'll find the money. Now that Florida is out, they can start negotiating with Buddy Reed.
Has there been any word on ONeal Lochridge getting a medical redshirt? And have you heard anything on if Cartwright is expected to redshirt next season? From what I've read, a lot of doctors suggest at least 14 months for UCL recovery.

Though they haven't yet applied, Paul Mainieri is confident both Alden Cartwright & O'Neal Lochridge will get medical redshirts
