That's just for opening week. He's throwing a good pitcher against the best opponent we will face of these first 4 games.

That's for the first week. Southeastern is our toughest opponent this week, so it looks more like he wants to throw out one of his top three there. Glenn may end up back in the rotation before SEC, but I think Bouman does really well and earns the 3rd spot. I'm not saying Glenn does anything to lose it (if it's his right now).

I see Poche being the odd man out. Glenn's SEC experience is valuable.

"Junior Cody Glenn — in the mix with Bouman and Poché for the two weekend spots — will start the Wednesday game, Feb. 19, at Southeastern Louisiana.

Mainieri plans to continue this rotation — Nola, Bouman, Poché and Glenn at midweek — for the first two-and-a-half weeks of the four-week non-conference slate."

It's the prediction I'm least confident about. Glenn, Bouman, and Poche are all lefties. Glenn could take a step back. Bouman has never been really tested on the college level. Poche could need more time before he's ready. Or they could all be stellar.

Still doesn't mean anything. He has to keep it that way for that long because you can't throw Glenn on Wednesday and the next Sunday.
