Its an injustice if he doesnt start behind the plate friday night.

I'll hold out my opinion on this catcher situation until after I've seen several weekend series.

I, too, am waiting to give my final opinion. I'll stick with Moore getting first shot. But I see him getting "games off" at first base to give the other two an opportunity. It seems he's staying in the lineup for good either way.

How will playing the uno's, gramblings, and yales of the world give you any clarification on who is better? They wont get seriously tested until SEC play which is why i have a problem with playing 3 different catchers in the OOC. I think Moore has to potential to be a really good 1B and would like to see him there.

You and L=C need to get on board. Your gonna want to get in on the ground floor on this one.

It will give me more than a few scrimmages. Playing live games at the box, by itself, adds pressure. Going a full 9 innings then playing the next day. 5 ABs a game. Clutch situations.
quote:I agree, but I still want to see Sciv a few times behind the plate in game before I'm willing to say he's the guy. Catcher is much more important than 1B, and the best guy of the 3 has to be back there regardless of how good one of them can be at first.

There's just a lot of good the three of Sciv, Moore, and Chinea can bring. Being that each has a special skill set and there are only really two spots available, I want to see how they play for several weekends at each position before I really lock down on a viewpoint. Scrimmages can only tell you so much (IMO very little).

Good thing or your boy would be riding the bench...

Real talk, we really don't have the sample size to know who the best is yet. From what we've seen I think KS is better behind the plate and can be a consistent hitter. Moore, IMO, doesn't have the arm for catcher and if anything is even with Scivicque defensively but he is a clutch hitter and you need him the line up.
That said, I'm all in on the KS Pain Train.
