Just finished those 100 reasons. Some of them were silly, but a lot of them were spot on. Good read for a boxtard for sure.

Happy birthday ell.

Defense at C and sorting out the bullpen are my biggest concerns. I think the infield spots will sort themselves out the first few weeks of the season.

Kendall Rogers said his SEC preview comes out on Wednesday. And I think Baseball America starts their preview stuff next week.

Happy bday ell!

Anyone ready to make some predictions?

Who is first out the pen on Friday after Nola throws 6 shutout innings?

Just read the 100 reasons link. Good stuff. I got a few CSBs of what goes down during rain/lightning delays in the dugouts, locker rooms, and even on the field.

Didn't he go 8 vs. Maryland last year?

Did he? I just know PM doesn't like to stretch his pitchers out early in the season.

He doesn't, but Nola was very efficient that day.

Just looked it up. Nola went 6.2 with 84 pitches. Good call, bubbz.

Aaron Nola W 1-0, 6.2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 9 K

efficient outing. I figured between 5 and 6 early in the season in cold weather.
