Nah.....we would have to get passed up by the fiesta and rose to goto the sugar to face Bama.
If the BCSNC is Oregon vs K-State
then the picks go:
Rose/Fiesta (whichever loses the #1 team)
Rose/Fiesta (whichever loses the #2 team)
Sugar
Orange
so assuming Oregon finishes #1
Rose will take ND and Big10 champ is automatic
Fiesta will take OU
Sugar will take SEC Champ
Orange will take FSU
Fiesta would get next pick and they won't want a 2-loss Clemson or a Big East Champ, so they will take a SEC at-large.
Sugar would probably take a 2-loss Clemson
Orange gets stuck with Big East Champ
Here's the probable scenarios assuming 2 unbeatens in NCG:
NCG - Oregon vs K-State
Rose - ND vs Nebraska
Fiesta - OU vs LSU
Sugar - Bama vs Clemson
Orange FSU vs Louisville
NCG - Oregon vs ND
Rose - Nebraska vs OU
Fiesta - K-State vs LSU
Sugar - Bama vs Clemson
Orange FSU vs Louisville
NCG - K-State vs ND
Fiesta - OU vs LSU
Rose - Oregon vs Nebraska
Sugar - Bama vs Clemson
Orange - FSU vs Louisville
If 2 of the unbeatens lose, then everything goes up in the air.
***the above scenarios are assuming FSU beats Florida, LaTech does not finish in the top 16 and above a AQ-conference champion, and that Oregon, Bama, Louisville, FSU, K-State, and Nebraska win their conferences.

have you ever seen the Orange Bowl's ratings?
4.56 last year compared to 10.1, 9.6, and 9.0 for the other 3 games (NCG had a 14).... any time you have an ACC-Big East match up you better pray you are getting UConn-Duke in basketball
Yes, I've seen the Orange Bowl's ratings. Last year's ratings were an anomaly. While its normally the lowest rated bowl game, it still has an average TV rating of 8.4 over the past 10 years. The reason that LSU-Bama is always so high is because it's become a play-in to represent the west in the SEC championship, which has become a play-in for the BCS championship.
The nation wouldn't care for this game if it doesn't mean anything. Think about context before you go full retard, and quit talking down to people just because you think you know more than everyone based on your post count.

We have to assume first that the Sugar Bowl even wants this matchup. I'm with the majority of people here saying they wouldn't. The fourth meeting in two years and first one without title implications would just get old.
But even assuming they do, I'm not sure what scenario lets LSU fall down to the Sugar Bowl. LSU is the 5th-best pick available after the trio of unbeatens and Alabama. Alabama probably has to be the SEC auto-bid for this to be possible, however remote. So you give them that. Two of those three unbeatens would end up in the NCG. If K-State or Oregon get left out, then they're bound to a BCS bowl and LSU's the hottest name left on the list; they get picked up by the Rose or Fiesta Bowl to replace the BCS team in the championship game. If ND is left out, they replace the conference with the #1 team, LSU replaces the conference with the #2 team.
No way this is happening, and thank God, too. The rivalry really loses its luster when it's played too much.

To think the Orange Bowl would have a higher tv rating with Clemson and Louisville or whatever slouches come out of those conferences is just laughable. Sick post count boom son.

hope soon. I haven't heard much about his injury. I bet they rest him against McNeese so Edward can log some meaningful minutes... but seriously... this kid's position on a rematch being the lowest rated BCS bowl is funny

lol
I pull for Eddie, but dammit he's hard to watch sometimes. He shows his true colors on the court.

this is what scares me. Hopefully it's just for a week or two, because we really shouldn't need him until Seton Hall.

after McNeese, they have a whole week off... if they hold him out against McNeese, NW St., and Miss. Valley, that will be 3 weeks of recovery. Hopefully good to go.

awesome. We'll definitely need him to stay healthy during conference play. Dude had a purpose Friday night.

Bama wouldn't want it and that counts for something.
