You'll notice that the slope is also different between the grandstand and bleachers, the master plan for the baseball stadium includes removing the metal bleachers and extending the grandstand slope all the way past the dugouts. Also, there are plans for an indoor hitting facility/new locker room/coaches offices down the first base line where the current batting cages are.

I'm a season ticket holder and used to get pissed when I would miss and inning and half using the bathroom and grabbing another beer. We now have triple the bathrooms and I can still watch the game while waiting in line for a beer. I really could care less that it looks bad on TV.
