Your TV point is dumb. Hawai'i has frequently played BCS schools at their place and they have pretty much all been on ESPN. It would be nationally televised, and it would be an 11 p.m. kickoff as you previously stated.

And I hope you understand that LSU would likely have to play there in December as the "13th game," just like Wisconsin did. You know, likely the day of the SEC Championship Game.

LSU will never travel to Hawaii for a game.

... only if LSU gets a postseason ban like Bama did several years ago.

Hopefully we schedule a game at Hawaii so all of these scenarios play out. Also, it would give LSU a 13th regular season game, which would give us one less bye week, which I'm all for.
So you're all for sending our guys to the furthest possible road trip that they could play a game a week before or after we have to play Bama? SERIOUSLY?

all "upsides"..

but yeah.. it won't happen

No, I think the word was used correctly. As far as the LSU football program is concerned, there literally is NO upside to playing at Hawaii. The season is grueling enough already...throwing an 8 hour plane ride across 4 times zones won't help. And LSU would lose a ton of money...you would have to charter 2 planes instead of 1 to get all of the players plus the equipment there, unless they have figured out a way to drive the equipment truck on water.

There's a reason for bye weeks. Although I love LSU football as much as the next guy, those kids need to rest during the season, and having one-less bye week would be crucial to a team.

Why would someone lie about this?

Act like they got 3 thousand laying around to take a nice trip to Hawaii when they still go pull weeds at grandmas for 40 bucks, a Sunkist, and a peanut patty.
