This is Coach McClendon all over again. He was a bullheaded Head Coach is ever there was one. Tiger fans had to put up with his 1939 offensive game plan for 19 years. Finally, AD Dietzel fired him and hired Bill Arnsparger from the Miami Dolphins.

actually hired bo rein who died in a plane crash and was replaced by jerry stovall who was then fired by broadhead who brought in arnsbarger.
