The fact that most people are pissed is this. Bama was supposed to play UGA this year... They swapped them for mizzou. We weren't supposed to play scar this year yet that who we got.
Bama was supposed to play UGA next year, they dropped them and we picked them up... They got Kentucky.

i understand that but that wasnt the intent of my thread. it was just to show the cyclical opponents and how it is not lopsided.

You're arguing like a Bama fan. People are talking about recently. People are pissed about the past year, this year and next. So you pull up stats about all time. As I said, people are pissed bc anytime something changes, Bama gets the benefit.

and i did show that they do rotate them evenly the past 13 seasons (minus the permanent teams)

we know that outside the permanent opponents that they rotate evenly. We have 1 permanent opponent in the east that pisses people off, the rest rotate. No one has said otherwise

2 years, this year and next year

the only 2 years the SEC didn't go by a rotation. the 2 years that LSU fans are pissed off about.

We already know that the SEC rotates East teams with the exception of the permanent opponent, so telling us over a 20 year period that we played similar opponents outside our permanent opponent is common sense

Nobody cares if/how it's cyclical! You're arguing like a Bama fan.

I don't give a crap if the schedules were equal in 2003. I also don't want to wait until it this "cyclical" schedule rotates to where it gets equal again, and I doubt any LSU fan does either.

It's how it looks now and has for at least 2 seasons, and next season, that it most certainly is lopsided. On top of that, rotating opponents out that they were supposed to have (Georgia), give them to us, replace them with some nothing team from the East (Kentucky).

That's what everyone is this thread is trying to point out to you.

his point is that if you take away the permanent opponents, and go by cyclical rotation without adjustments, then the schedules are going to be similar outside of the permanent opponent.

So basically he thinks that LSU fans don't know what a rotation is I guess

Then don't post stupid shite like this:

since I am home sick and have nothing else to do and i am tired of hearing how alabama has any easy eastern schedule,

when Bama obviously has an easier eastern schedule, especially the last 2 years with the SEC's adjustment

maybe we can hope we will get an easy eastern team in 2014 and 2015

Doesn't matter if it's "your" thread. That's how readers interpreted the thread judging from the title. I know that's how I took it and it looks like others did as well.

I already said that once. It would've gotten to the current scheduling fiasco inevitably.

Next time, make the title more accurate to describe what you're talking about.

2 years... And that's 2 years everyone is bitching about.

I understand that mizzou had to play someone from the west. If that were it then fine. But it's just fishy that they drop their only good east opponent for a shitty new team. Still, if that were the only thing it wouldn't be a big deal.

Why did they drop UGA in 13 and replace them with Kentucky.

As far as lsu goes. We got UGA next year only bc Bama dropped them (not Bama directly, I'm aware of this). And if I'm not mistaken, scar wasn't supposed to be in our rotation this year yet we picked then up bc of the expansion.

so we get to play UGA on the road but we don't get the return trip?

Anyways, it would be a rotation again at that point

I guess. Take away the permanent opponents, then sure, they're equitable. No one said it wasn't. But that's not the case and he seems to be the only one that doesn't get that.

i understand but it is unrealistic to think that the SEC changed the schedule so that Bama could have a chance to win back to back national championships.
