HUGE win by these wunderkinds known as the Tigers. I know Memphis isn't the juggernaut it was in the past, but they're certainly respected and well coached, and not everyone goes out on the road and beats them.
This should deliver confidence leading into LSU's brutal conference slate.

We beat a weak team and had issues doing it. We are going to have a rough time once we start playing real teams.

If we can go 2-2 in first four SEC games watch out. First four games are brutal. So nice to watch this team grow and gain confidence.

Yea, I'm not hanging my hat on this win. Memphis looked like crap out there. We should have won by 20. But there were some positive things to take away.

Nice to see game won by coach changing defense every trip down. It made Memphis look lost on offense. The good thing is this is being done with a lot of holdovers from jones. Can't wait for Wade to have his players in place might get interesting.

Yea, that was nice to see. It also helped that Memphis couldn't hit an open shot from the outside to save their life. And also had a bunch of unforced turnovers down the stretch.

Only real weakness seen by the naked eye is rebounding. It's horrible! Need to learn the art of blocking out. When Wade gets his big men on campus I believe this will improve big time.

I attribute that to playing zone for significant minutes for only about the 2nd time... We were the only team to outrebound Houston when we beat them, grabbed 50 boards against NF last Friday

Actually when in zone defense it improves rebounding. Let me rephrase that, when playing zone defense correctly it makes rebounding easier.
