the reality is that pollsters think that Mizzou has an offense that can't be stopped. No one has come close to doing it.
Reality is, that regardless of the win last night, the QB position isn't solidified. Are you 100% absolutely confident in Lee? I'm not saying he isn't worthy of starting, but he isn't a world beater, ala Daniel. You guys are pissed off that USC jumped to #1 after UVA. The media jumped the gun with USC and you guys are still pissed about it. Thinking that everytime someone beats a good team, they should jump a team that hasn't played anyone yet.
If it were the other way around and Mizzou beat a ranked team and jumped LSU after playing weak teams, you guys would be PISSED.

Nevada had a really great D huh??? and so does that POWERHOUSE SE Missouri state....that is why they dropped in the AP and it is just a matter of time before they do in the coaches.

regardless of the competition. Just like I said, if it were the other way around and Mizzou beat a ranked opponent in a close game while LSU only played weak teams and got jumped, you guys would be crying and emailing the media.

for padding their schedules with cupcakes , YES they should be penalized. They aren't the only ones though that do it. IMO they should just do away with the first 3 weeks of the season since MOST schools don't schedule a decent non-conference opponent....or better yet , play the crappy first 3 weeks but don't come out with any polls or preseason polls till conference play starts.

Good god man, look at LSU's first 3 games. you're trying to justify your argument with their "weak 3 games" while at the sam time LSU plays a weaker OOC schedule?

It's not like USC has played anyone either. They get a 2 game win streak going and all the talk about the greatest college team of all time starts to surface. Then, they finally play someone..Stanford..and LSU finally gets the credit it deserves.
Mizzou could probably beat us right now. They have the athletes to throw at us in the passing game and Daniel is a vet. I think it would be an exciting game, and it was the championship game I was hoping for last season.
