you paid attention the past week? Slaughter also hit two balls last night that would have been home runs had it not been cold and the wind blowing in. He's been swinging a good bat the past 5 games or so.

what? It is factually correct the wind was blowing in from left field and it was unseasonably cold. He hit two balls to the edge of the warning track in left field. He was something like 8 of his last 19 coming into the game.
