we disagree with you that going 2-2 in 2018 was so much more impresseive than 1-3 given the fact that our 2 wins in 2018 were against 2-9 teams.

Interesting about the 2015 offense. Obviously much more talented/experienced playmakers. But, here's something real interesting.
In 2018, lsu played 8 defenses in the top 35 in total defense, including 6 in the top 25, and 2 in the top 5.
In 2015, lsu played the #3 and #8 teams in total defense. They did not play another team ranked in the top 50 in total defense.

The problem was that it was one dimensional, as the year progressed teams just stacked the box and shut us down.
It was far more talented, but lacked important aspects to win tough games.
Unfortunately this ineptitude carried over into 2016

We were comparing the offense of 2015 vs the offense of 2018? Hence, you look at the DEFENSES that each offense faced.
It is very clear that the 2018 offense faced MUCH tougher defenses than the 2015 team. That's not debatable. Doesn't mean Miami was a good overall team, but they did have a top 5 defense.

And its not debatable that 2015 was vastly more productive but here you and troy are.
