This is so dumb, it makes no sense for USC to be ahead of Georgia. Georgia lost to the number 2 team in the nation and USC lost to a 3-3 Oregon State team.

Any wonder why the PAC-10 and BIG-10 are so vehemently against a playoff system?

Actually ggod to see USC is being punished for their weak conference. I was wondering whether UF and OU would be behind them.

Let's not forget the SEC unanimously voted down a ployoff in their 2007 spring meeting.

I agree. The fact that USC is 6 is absurd

God, you're a b*tch.

I did miss you.

I hope USC loses again and we'll be without your company until the Trojans jump the Tigers again.

I think all of you are illusional. You better stop worring about the polls and start wondering if our defense can play. If you have'nt noticed it has steadily went downhill this season. We had a bad defensive show against Miss. and had two weeks to get better and change some things and it did'nt happen. I for one am worried about our team and could careless about where everyone is in the polls because if we don't change some things the polls will be the least of our worries.

agree with you 100%, we got spanked last night on both sides of the line, secondary continues to play soft and we are giving big plays away time and time gain to anyone that has a good receiver that will play us man to man. we are where florida was when they had a youg QB and just played him to get experience - soon afetr that they got a NC, so just bite the bullet this year, give it all you have and put plenty of mileage on our young QB's and db's.

I know that we got our butt's whipped by a large margin, however I do not agree with this at all...I do not understand how USC can lose to an unranked Oregon State team at the time and they only fall nine spots. Furthermore, when LSU loses to a top 15 team, we also fall nine spots...The AP voter's should be fair about their voting and ranking's...

If USC can lose to an unranked team and only fall nine spots then we should have only fallen like 4-5 spots for losing to a top 15 team, but not nine whole spots! If the AP voter's are saying to the world that we will only drop you nine spots if you lose to an unranked team, then how can they allow LSU to drop nine sports for only losing to a top 15 team...THE AP ISN'T PLAYING FAIR, AND THIS MAKES THE AP VOTER'S LOOK VERY BIASED AND VERY SILLY AND UNPROFESSIONAL!
I would love to e-mail the ''head honcho'' of that poll and tell that person this, and have that person explain their feelings about this very subject. Does anyone know a legit e-mail?

Then you should really be pissed at the Coaches' poll. The way you lose a game has significant meaning was well - LSU lost by 30.

I know we lost by 30, i said in my last post that i know we lost by a large margin. However, it was to a top 15 team at the time, and USC lost to an unranked team and only went from one to nine.

Here is why LSU dropped as much after losing to Florida as USC did after losing to Oregon State: USC's loss to Oregon State is viewed as a fluke. LSU's loss to Florida is not. Plus, USC's victories were more impressive than LSU's.
