Wow, this team is bad. With probably the toughest SEC team we play this year this weekend, it would have been nice to have a tougher game than this.

Softball has had a universal run rule in place for a while, and baseball is moving towards that now (10+ runs after 7 innings in SEC games). So I was wondering, how do softball people feel about the run rule? Would you rather go the distance, or if you know one team will win, would you rather just call it?

Maybe someone else can chime in looking at their schedule looks like they beat up on bad teams and lost to all the good teams. They are 20-5 on the year

Yeah, it's not exactly a one to one comparison, the extra work is probably more useful in baseball than softball.
