we are not beating florida and if would beat them this is the year. Lee needs to start the whole game if we have a shot.

True, but that is not the way odds work. Odds are ratios. Think of the odds for red/black in roulette (disregard the 0 or 00). They are 1:1. That means two things. First, it means a $1 bet pays your original bet, plus $1. Also, it means that there is a 1 in 2 chance of the event happening. 1:1 is red:black.
As far as your little bet is concerned, the odds would go like this.... Odds of losing : odds of winning, or 80% : 20%, or 4:1.

That's the beauty of all of this. Miles is a media punching bag right now - I feel bad for him and our team. I certainly have not been his biggest supporter but I'm starting to think most of this is his loyalty to Crowton and I think it's Crowton's inabilities at the end of games that puts us in these positions. We go with Lee - Ridley - Shep - strong D and special teams - this team could be special.
So here me out - if we win this week and next - and if many of the computers have us #1 - most will have us in top 3 - Currently we are #4 in Sagarin and #2 in Colley - Anderson & Hester we are #2 - Massey #4 - throw in Coaches with us currently at #9 (maybe we move to 6-8) - placing us in top 5 or top 3 BCS Rank when they come out Oct 17th. What would the media think of that? WOW!

ok i take that back...we have a 33% percent chance of winning...i'll happily put down my 2 coins against your 1
but then i wouldn't be able to cheer as loudly for the tigers...so bet's off...
