That's the KEY. I don't have to look it up. I lived it. You apparently missed it. After you spend the next year finding all the media references, and talking to all the fans you can find, you will come back and say "Beatles was right, AS USUAL!" Tiger Staduim RULES!!

Every time this comes up, my vote is LSU/USC '79.

The buzz created the entire week before with the #1 team coming to town, future NFLers up & down their lineup, resulted in a noise level that truly was deafening.

That was the days of students getting in with IDs, first come, first served, so we had to get there even earlier than usual to stand in line for gate opening time.

Couldn't hear the guys around me during the game, couldn't talk for several days after the game. Valiant effort by a vastly undermanned Tiger team that fell just short of what would have been an epic upset.

Thus, the quote from the USC player afterward that Tiger Stadium made Notre Dame Stadium look like "Romper Room".

You must not have paid attention to anything in the stadium not to know the score before they announced it

Hey buddy, I was getting text messages about it in the 3rd quarter so I knew what was going on before most did...but in reality, how many drunk LSU fans really gave a shite about USC-Stanford prior to hearing it announced? Nobody was paying any attention to that...not when we were playing Florida.

I get goosebumps listening to stories about 03 UGA and 07 UF cause I was at both of those. It was awesome. I was more impressed at how UF came back down and scored after all that madness.

Been here since 1979. The 1st game I went to was the USC game. As a sports fan I have never been the same. I realize how special TS is, with tailgating and the such. But your argument is NOT with me. Look at the other posts in this thread!!!!

My argument apparently is with you, since you started it with your reply. What I said is indisputable.
