Is it just me or does the catcher look like the UT catcher from 2009?

I went to the practice/ scrimmage yesterday. Overall the team looks really solid. Gausman and Eades look like the real deal.
the new bats suck. It's going to take some time to get used to that sound. Sounds more like a wooden bat.A couple of the batters got some pretty good hits.

Rhymes hit one that landed in the field between homerun village and u-high's field.

The one thing that concerned me is our catchers seemed to have a lot of trouble throwing runners out at 2nd. Maybe that's a tribute to our base running ability or maybe young catchers?

Either way I can't wait for Friday !

Field looks pretty good considering the winter we've had.

That's the first thing I noticed when I walked into the stadium. Seems lie opening day the last 2 years the grass was still brown. I actually looks really good this year.

He played the rest of the scrimmage. But the trainer came out to get him from 3rd base and took him into the dugout. I also saw that Nola hurt a finger on his left hand, he had it taped up and the other players kept asking him about it. And Katz got hit by a pitch that looked like it hurt a little. I thought PM might end the practice early with the injuries.

Nola was safe at second, umpire blew that call.

Great pics. Much thanks. BTW I predict a minimum of 100 SB's for the Tigers this season. I know that's a pretty safe bet.
